The objective of the course is to reach knowledge and skills in application of the problems concerning the financial management.

Summary
The course is focused on financial management and decision-making, including methods and applied approaches of non-financial and financial institutions. The course covers selected financial issues, particularly financial decision-making, measuring and managing the financial performance of firms and industries, company valuation, determination of the costs of capital for investment project appraisal, valuation, acquisition and merger management, short and long-term financial planning and strategic financial management of companies. More advanced methods of analysis are used in particular areas of financial management and decision-making.
