Summary

The aim of the course is to familiarize students with the function and structure of computer software, architecture of operating systems and the grounding of communication with them. Furthermore, it provides the basic orientation in possibilities and requirements for standard applications programming packages.

Komponenty informačních systémů – úvod do problematiky 2. Funkční charakteristiky počítačových modulů 3. Systémový software 4. Operační systémy – princip práce, užívané algoritmy, client-server architektura, otevřené systémy 5. Operační systémy typu Unix 6. Operační systémy typu Windows 7. Využití externích zdrojů informací, principy fungování počítačových sítí -Internet, Intranet, Extranet 8. Typy aplikačního software Office, CAD, GIS, CASE, EIS, databázové systémy, DTP 9. Základní komponenty PC a jejich charakteristika 10. Logická struktura mikroprocesoru, hodnocení a typy mikroprocesorů 11. Komunikace mikroprocesoru s okolím, charakteristiky a parametry datových sběrnic 12. Fyzická a logická organizace operační paměti osobního počítače 13. Fyzická a logická struktura pevného disku, způsob práce s pevným diskem 14. Základní vlastnosti kompaktních disků a jejich standardy 15. Charakteristické vlastnosti a typy monitorů 16. Charakteristické vlastnosti a typy modemů
