Subject aims expressed by acquired skills and competences

In the course the students will be acquainted with the essence of globally accepted methodologies in informatics management. The student acquires knowledge of the use of the concept of IT services and can apply the principles of IT governance. The student can analyze the situation in the organization and propose a solution based on the recommendations of the discussed frameworks.

Summary

The course focuses on a holistic view of the application of information technology in a company or institution. The emphasis is on the aspects of corporate IT management and the meaningful use of IT resources for the needs of business (IT alignment). Attention is also paid to the field of IT services and their integration into the management of the organization.
