Using virtualization on the desktop. Ability to install an operating system (OS), Linux. Managing Linux in terms of the system administrator. Remote administration of Linux. Compare Linux and Windows, consider the appropriateness of their application in specific cases.

Summary

The course deals with the operating system Linux, which is based on Unix-based systems. The course focuses especially to his administration (the administration), understanding principles of functioning of the system (architecture, life cycle of the Solaris OS), and finally its installation, backup and subsequent maintenance. Everything will be done using Oracle software, VirtualBox.

1. Instalace operačního systému Linux 2. Seznámení se základy a používáním jednotlivých částí operačního systému Solaris 3. Správa souborového systému 4. Správa souborů a složek (adresářů) 5. Archivování souborů a složek a vzdálená správa operačního systému 6. Správa datových svazků 7. Zavedení systému a způsoby jeho vypnutí 8. Správa uživatelských účtů a zabezpečení systému 9. Správa tisku a pokročilá správa systémových procesů 10. Záloha systému a obnovení ze zálohy 11. Základy konfigurace prostředí počítačové sítě a protokolu TCP/IP 12. Správa jmenných a adresářových služeb 13. Pokročilé instalační procedury
