Using virtualization on the desktop. Ability to install an operating system (OS), Linux. Managing Linux in terms of the system administrator. Remote administration of Linux. Compare Linux and Windows, consider the appropriateness of their application in specific cases.

Summary

The course deals with the operating system Linux, which is based on Unix-based systems. The course focuses especially to his administration (the administration), understanding principles of functioning of the system (architecture, life cycle of the Solaris OS), and finally its installation, backup and subsequent maintenance. Everything will be done using Oracle software, VirtualBox.

Archiving files and folders and remote management of the operating system 6. Managing data volumes 7. The introduction of the system and how it is switched off 8. Manage user accounts and system security 9. Print Management and advanced management system processes 10. System backup and restore from backup 11. Basic configuration of computer network environment and TCP / IP 12. Management of naming and directory services 13. Advanced Installation Procedures
