Outline principles of communication in computers networks. Describe properties of technologies used in LAN. Assess requierements for design of LAN. Set together simply LAN from HW and SW components.

Summary

Subject is focused on getting acquainted with the problems of computer networks with emphasis on LAN-type network. The course is characterized by physical and software elements of the LAN, administration, management and ropes at the end is accented by a global network element.
