Subject aims expressed by acquired skills and competences

This lecture focuses on holistic approach on implementation of information technologies by institutions. Main focus is company IT technology management and use of IT resources for business purposes (IT alignment). IT services and their implementation into company management structure will be discussed as well. These lessons will improve students' awareness about company information technology management and commonly used methodologies.

1. Introduction to enterprise informatics management and IT resources in an organization. 2. Classification of IS types and their use in organization. IT strategy - role, content and relationship to other strategies in the organization. 3. Business Analytics - Content, roles and usage in organization management. BABOK Framework. 4. IT Governance and its role in corporate IT management. Introduction to the principles and use of the Cobit framework. 5. IT services management. IT services management context. Introduction to the ITIL framework. 6. Enterprise Architecture and Business Informatics Usage. Introductory introduction to the TOGAF framework.
