Summary

The course builds on Informatics A and further develops knowledge in the field of business informatics. The aim is to understand the use of computer technology in businesses. It explains the creation of algorithms economic problems and its implementation in practice, offers an understanding of data structures and understanding of security and data protection. Discusses the application of information systems, their types, and integration into the business.

1. Business informatics - introduction, role and significance. 2. Analysis and design solutions of economic problems - algorithms. 3. Analysis and design solutions of economic problems - algorithms. 4. Representation of algorithms and continuity in the functioning of businesses. 5. Process management, process modeling in businesses. 6. Database processing. 7. Database management systems. 8. Information systems (IS) - the role and importance in companies and institutions. 9. Information systems - components, applications. 10. IS applications, ERP, ECM, CRM. 11. ICT security. 12. Electronic commerce. 13. Integration and management of information systems. 14. Current trends in the field of ICT in the context of information systems.
