Subject aims expressed by acquired skills and competences
The aim is to introduce students to the area of IT governance and management, aligning IT strategy with business strategy and with IT service management. Part of the course is to introduce the methodological framework.

Summary
The key IT implementation aspects are discussed as well as basic terminology and methodological framework supporting the governance and management of IS/IT. Information technology is put into context with the real needs of organizations (IT and business alignment).
