The aim of the course is to acquire basic skills in designing information systems object-oriented approach. Students will become familiar with the modeling language UML 2 and IS development methodology Scrum.

Credit: - active participation in seminars; - elaboration of the project according to the required structure and its delivery at a given date; Exam: - oral (defense of the project and oral questions from given topics); - get at least 28 points out of 55.

Students have at their disposal LMS Moodle presentations of individual lectures, case studies, assignments and data for exercises.

Active participation in seminars. Elaboration of the project according to the required structure and its delivery within the given deadline.

1. Life cycle of information system development 2. Processing of user requests 3. Metrics 4. Principles of object modeling, object paradigm 5. Levels of information system abstraction 6. Characteristics of UML 2 and UP methodology 7. Use Case Diagram and Relationship to BPMN 8. Class diagram 9. Activity diagram, Sequence diagram and Communication diagram 10. Other UML diagrams 2 11. Characteristics of agile approach to information system development 12. Standards, standards, methodologies of information system development 13. Scrum methodology (roles, teams, product backlog, sprints, stories, planning poker) 14. Quality management of Scrum methodology
