Subject aims expressed by acquired skills and competences

The course offers students the acquisition of theoretical knowledge and practical skills in management and organization in companies and institutions. Emphasis is placed especially on the field of business informatics management, IT service management, IT security, knowledge of organizational structure creation and methods and approaches to their designing. Discussions are linked to the business page of the organization or of IT/business alignment. The course emphasizes a holistic approach to management, therefore other aspects related to IT resource management and frameworks used in practice are also included. Attention is focused on two areas: IT service management and IT security.

Formalization and standardization of management (processes) in the company - ISO standards. 5. The concept of enterprise architecture 6. Governance of IT 7. IT services and service value management, innovation and transformation of ICT operations into the service sector 8. Management of business informatics - the area of management and connection with the management of the organization 9. Effects of business informatics 10. IT strategy - content, role in organization, creation. 11. ITIL framework 12. ITIL services strategy 13. ITIL services design 14. Transition of services according to ITIL 15. Operation and continuous improvement of ITIL services
