Undertanding relational concept of ORACLE database system. Basics in programming in DB ORACLE system. SQL programming language, Developer 2000. Designing methodology in Designer 2000. Distributed processing and databases. Data storage, decision-making support, multi-dimensional database. Alternative knowledge of another comparable database system.

Summary

The course focuses on conceptual modeling database and advanced database technology in Oracle environments, such as distributed database systems and data warehouses for decision support applications. Its aim is to understand these technologies, its theoretical principles, application possibilities, design and deployment in practice.
