- to create a design of economic research on given topic - to assess a relevancy of existing empirical evidence - to create a dataset for economic analysis - to analyse data in STATA software - to interpret and present results of the research

Summary

Economic research has its own rules and their following improve the quality and relevancy of results. Knowledge of these rules enables both creating high-quality analyses and assessing the relevancy of results of existing studies. This subject, therefore, is focused on mastering the rules of economic research, i.e. starting with formulation of research questions and ending with a presentation of results. Students will gain not only theoretical knowledge, but also practical analytical skills.
