Student will be able: - to describe fundamentals economic policy and economic process - to compare theoretical approaches to the international comparison - to describe basic transformation steps and transformation strategies - to employ this results for international comparison - to analyze development of basics macroeconomics indicarors in

Summary

Genesis of comparative economics and delimitation of the economic system. Comtenporary and classical conception of the economic system. Statistical mensuration of the economic goals. Determination of the transformation action and comparation of the transformation action in the countries central and eastern Europe. Comparation of the development macroeconomics indicators chosen economy in the transformation period and comtenporary situation - GDP, inflation, development on labour market, fiscal and monetary policy. Outside economic situation of the countries central and eastern Europe. Development foreign trade and balance of payments of the Czech Republic, Slovak, Poland and Hungary. Development of the other indicators - human development index, index economic freedom, index consumer's prices, "misery index", corruption perception index.

Methods of economic comparisons . 3.Economic level and methods of its measurement. 4.Statistics measuring of economic targets 5.Process of transformationin Central and Eastern Europe. Transformation strategy. 6.Macroeconomic development of the Czech Republic in International Comparison. 7.Alternative indicators of economic efficiency. 8.Comparison of inflation and unemployment. 9.Comparison of external balance. 10.Real and price convergence of the Czech economy in international comparison 11.Exchange rate development of Central European countries 12.Comparison of institutional background. 13.Comparison of indicators of quality. 14.Actual problems of economic policy, transition economies in relation to EU accession and the preparations for adopting the single currency
