Student will be able: - to assess sectoral structure of national economics - to interpret sectoral structure on the example international classification of economic activity - to describe development sectors in terms of Czech economies - to characterize single sectores - to comparison their competitive advantage

1. Developments structure in world economy 2. Classification of economic activities, sectors in the economy 3. Agriculture and Food Industry 4. Mineral resources and mining industry 5. Energy sector 6. Construction, real estate market and housing stock 7. Manufacturing - status and development of the food, textile, clothing, mills. and paper industry 8. Manufacturing - status and development of automotive, plastics and rubber and other non- metallic materials 9. The transport sector - status, prospects, competitiveness 10.Financial and insurance - a state perspective, competitiveness 11.Research - funding sources, the relationship to individual sectors 12.ICT - manucacturing 13.ICT - the tertiary sector 14.Education, health and social care
