Teaching methods

Summary

The course will provide knowledge of labor market in the EU countries. Furthermore, the following topics will be covered: Development of integration processes in EU countries during the nineties and the basic developmental tendencies in the labor market policies. Comparisons through selected countries (e.g. Denmark, Sweden, Germany, The Netherlands and others with the USA and Japan) are provided. Transition from the passive to the active employment policy is described with consequent changes in the labor market structure.
