Subject aims expressed by acquired skills and competences
Objective of the course antitrust regulation is to show students the ways in which it is possible to mitigate the negative effects of imperfect competition on the economic efficiency of the country. Therefore, the subject focuses on the development of theory and practical politics of market protection and conceptual ideas to organize a competitive economy .

The essence and the main objectives of competition policy. The development of theory and practical policy of protection market. The concentration and monopolization of the economy. The causes and forms of restriction competition. Diagnosis of of functionality competition. The static nature and dynamism of competition.Tools of competition policy. Ban on cartels, supervision of the abuse of a dominant market position, merger control. The history of a specific form of antitrust policy, its legal regulation. Competition in the European Union. The protection of competition in the Czech republic.
