• To define basic terms of dynamic systems modeling
• To discuss the essence and application possibilities of dynamic modeling
• To apply the tools by building, testing and applying dynamic simulation models
• To solve practical problems using business models and SW products

The subject offers the possibility of theoretical knowledge and practical
skills when building, testing and applying dynamic simulation models and the systems of business models using relevant SW products.

1. Basic terms of systems modelling. Dynamic systems models.
2. External environment of business. PEST analysis.
3. Strategic change. Strategic change success models
4. Resources, flows and information in the concept phase of strategic change, information resources. Graphic model. Computer based change model.
5. Modelling of economic processes. Economic system dynamics. Dynamic systems typology. Forrester’s approach.
6. Systems dynamics modelling software Powersim Constructor 2.5.
7. Business model EMA.PM. Function, structure, personal and organisational support.
8. Different business models and software presentation.
9. Case study of business modelling using EMA.PM software.
