• To define basic terms of dynamic systems modeling • To discuss the essence and application possibilities of dynamic modeling • To apply the tools by building, testing and applying dynamic simulation models • To solve practical problems using business models and SW products • To interpret and analyze gained results

The subject offers the possibility of theoretical knowledge and practical skills when building, testing and applying dynamic simulation models and the systems of business models using relevant SW products.

Subject syllabus:

1. The external environment of enterprises The external environment of political, economic, ecological, social, nick-technology. Subsystems of inputs, outputs. Changes in the external environment. Establishment and development of systems approaches to strategic management. 2nd The strategic changes in organizations and the main factors and models of their successful management. Models of successful management of strategic change. Characteristic strategic changes and features. 3. Sources, flows and information processing in the conceptual phase of the project strategic changes. Resources. Graphical process model and information flows. Model and computer support. Models and simulation systems. 4. Modeling of economic processes. Economic process as a dynamic system. Definition and classification of dynamic systems. Forrester method of identification and modeling of dynamic systems. SW products and solutions for building system dynamics models. Application software Powersim Constructor 5.2 5. The system of business models EMA.PM. Basic functions and structure of systems EMA.PM. Organizational, personnel, software and hardware creation and security applications. 6. Other well-known business models and appropriate software products. Models-product-cost, manufacturing, financial and others. The basic principles of functions and applications in POWERSIM 2.5 Constructors 7. Case studies and applications of PM larger scale and summary main principles of modeling. Creation of business models on the selected object. Using software product EMA.PM to create application models.
