Summary

Decision making as both the key to the management responsibility and the management attribute. The possibilities of the manager`s decision making level increasing. Methods, techniques and tools for the management decision making support. Approaches to the complex decision making problems solving.

Subject syllabus:

1. Purpose and objective decision making theory.  Decision-making in management.  decisions such as choosing a specific type.  decision-making process as a sequence of decisions over time.  Basic to effective decisions. 2. Typology of decision-making processes.  Decision making under certainty, uncertainty and risk.  Decision Making an exact, empirical-intuitive, heuristic.  individual and collective decisions.  3. The structure of decision-making process. 4. Decision making under certainty, risk and uncertainty.  The decision matrix.  Total expected consequences rule minimaxima, Savage, Hurwitzovo. 5. Methods for determining their characteristics.  Simple methods of decision making.  Mathematical Methods and Operations Research.  Other methods. 6. A simple method of choosing the best option.  scale nominal, ordinal and cardinal.  weighted rating. 7.- 8. Logical and analytical methods.  Decision analysis and its structure.  Application of decision analysis. 9.- 10. Methods of using the knowledge of graph theory.  Decision trees deterministic and stochastic.  Decision trees with a time and material sequences. 11. Decision networks.  Decision networks deterministic and stochastic. 12. Formal - logical methods.  Decision table and its quadrants.  Decision tables and mixed with a defined option. 13.- 14. Other methods.  Prognostic methods based on the information experts of individual forms and collecting forms.
