Subject aims expressed by acquired skills and competences
Students will gain knowledge from the managerial practice (especially from the information system's strategy creation and implementation point of view), but also skills for effective application of the theoretical body of knowledge of selected management information system's implementation aspects

Summary
V rámci předmětu si studenti rozšiřují znalosti z předmětů specializovaných v oblastech projektování, řízení a vývoje manažerského informačního systému. Průběh seminářů předmětu je obohacen o zkušenosti přizvaných odborníků z praxe. Studenti si prohloubí znalosti a dovednosti zejména v následujících oblastech aplikace informatiky v praxi:
- modelování dat při implementaci systému Business Intelligence,
- integrace dat prostřednictvím aplikace pokročilých principů jazyka SQL,
- profilování dat a návrh řešení pro čištění dat v datové základně,
- aplikace agilních principů při plánování a řízení projektů vývoje informačního systému,
- aplikace poznatků o reportingu v systému Business Intelligence v prostředí moderních softwarových nástrojů.
Zápočet spočívá ve vypracování a obhajobě semestrální práce, v níž je veden k vyjádření odborného pohledu na vybrané aplikace teoretických poznatků v rámci manažerského informačního systému.

Subject syllabus:
Project management, management of projects based on traditional and agile approaches, application on the management information system development
- Management information system and the data quality, data profiling, data governance, master data management
- Modern approaches to the visualisation and reporting in current Business Intelligence solutions, theoretical principles of the reporting in practice, usage of software tools
- Big data, open data and, in general, a work with the unstructured data in the management information system, processing, storage and management
