Subject aims expressed by acquired skills and competences

Subject offers possibility to gain basic theoretical knowledge and practical skills to create, test and applicate business process models with using available SW products. Students can work with the business model system EMA.PM, concrete with the procuts-cost model, producing model and financial model. It will explained them the core of the simulation model creating, which is based on the system dynamics methods. The will work with Powersim software support, which supports this method.

Summary

The course offers students the opportunity to acquire basic theoretical knowledge and practical skills in the design, testing and application of business process models using available SW product students will be able to work with the EMA.PM business model system, specifically with product-cost model, manufacturing model and financial model. Furthermore, the principle of designing simulation models based on the system dynamics method and working in Powersim software environment supporting this method will be explained.
