The subject aims to learn students to analyze systems, which use systems artificial intelligence systems, to understand their construction and to compile a simple knowledge system.

Formal apparatus and artificial intelligence languages: problems: problem
solving, knowledge representation, symbolic functional, declarative and object
oriented languages. Expert systems and their application in business:
fundamental methods of representation of findings, architecture of knowledge and
expert systems, expert system life cycle. Neuron networks and their application
possibilities.

Subject syllabus:
Formal structures and artificial intelligence languages: problems, problems solving, knowlege representation, symbolic functional, declarative and object oriented languages. Expert systems and their application to economics: fundamental methods of knowlege representation, expert and knowledge systems architecture, life cycle of expert systems. Neural networks and their possibilities of application, basic terminology connected with neural networks, types of neural networks and ways of their learning, areas of application for neural networks (forecasts, expert systems, picture processing, neural networks simulation). Other intelligent technologies and their applications: fuzzy logic, fuzzy sets, genetic algorithms and genetic programming. Knowledge management and its implementaton into companies.
