Summary

Cílem předmětu Analýza obalu dat (Data envelopment analysis, DEA) je seznámit studenty s novými trendy při hodnocení výkonnosti produkčních jednotek z teoretického i empirického pohledu. Student získává znalosti metod založených především na lineárním programování. DEA je kvantitativní přístup k hodnocení výkonu různých objektů, které se zabývají různými činnostmi v mnoha různých souvislostech. Studenti získávají znalosti základních pojmů a metodiky DEA, které jsou nezbytné pro uplatňování DEA v praxi. Studenti získávají dovednosti v uplatňování DEA v praxi v různých kontextech, včetně ekonomie (veřejná ekonomika, nemocnice), finance (banky, výběr portfolia) a průmyslového inženýrství (výběr technologií, návrh rozvržení zařízení, automobilový trh). Metodika DEA je základním nástrojem pro podporu rozhodovacích procesů.

Way of continuous check of knowledge in the course of semester

Processing, presentation and defense of a seminar paper on a selected topic and the application of DEA models. An oral exam on a topic determined by the course guarantor in the area of data package analysis.
