Subject aims expressed by acquired skills and competences

After completing this subject, students will be able to understand and apply the following skills and topic areas: - design and assessment of plane and space reinforced structures (flat slab without girders, walls, tanks, bunkers, silos); - interaction models, FEM analysis of strip, grid and slab foundation with regard to interaction of subsoil, design and assessment of pile foundations; - concrete floors - basic principles of pre-stressing; - FEM utilization for design and reliability assessment of concrete structures.
