Subject aims expressed by acquired skills and competences
The aim of this course is to develop the knowledge and skills in the area of design, reliability assessment and realization of concrete structures of transport constructions, engineering structures and industrial buildings. Student has to obtain and prove an adequate general overview of solved problems. Student also has to work out the individual project related to the scope of the thesis.

Summary
The analysis of concrete and reinforced concrete elements and structures, material models and solution methods for stress-strain state. Material models of concrete, reinforced concrete and reinforcement. Stress and strain analysis of slab, wall and wall-slab structures. The effect of geometric and material nonlinearity. The finite element method (FEM), concrete and reinforcement models. Elements effected by variable stiffness and cracks.
