Subject aims expressed by acquired skills and competences

The aim of this course is to develop the knowledge and skills in the area of design, reliability assessment and realization of timber structures. Student has to obtain and prove an adequate general overview of solved problems. Student also has to work out the individual project related to the scope of the thesis.

Summary

Předmět poskytuje všeobecný přehled o materiálech dřevěných konstrukcí (dále jen DK), o stavu normalizace v oboru DK v Evropě, o metodách navrhování a posuzování spolehlivosti prvků a spojů DK. Pozornost je věnována problematice únavy, požární odolnosti a trvanlivosti DK a možného výskytu vad a poruch DK. V rámci předmětu se studenti rovněž seznámí s hlavními typy dřevěných a dřevobetonových konstrukcí, včetně problematiky prostorového ztužení.
