Subject aims expressed by acquired skills and competences

Students should acquire basic knowledge and overview of the construction of energy such as buildings for the supply of electricity, gas and heat energy, a renewable energy and basic resources, as well as on the principles of calculating energy needs and the calculation of flow and pressure conditions of pipeline networks. Basic knowledge will acquire the construction, maintenance and reconstruction of power grid.

Summary

Výuka předmětu je zaměřena na charakteristiku základních částí staveb pro zásobování elektrickou energií, energetickými plyny, pro zásobování teplem včetně užitkové vody. Obsah výuky zahrnuje základní znalosti pro navrhování, provoz a rekonstrukce staveb pro zásobování energiemi především bytové a občanské zástavby. Uvádí se výchozí výpočtové metody pro zjištění potřeb energií a postup výpočtů pro dimenzování rozvodných sítí a objektů.

At least 70% attendance at the exercises. Absence, up to a maximum of 30%, must be excused and the apology must be accepted by the teacher (the teacher decides to recognize the reason for the excuse). Tasks assigned on the exercises must be hand in within the dates set by the teacher.

Subject syllabus:

Lectures 1st The importance of buildings for energy supply in the technical infrastructure and regional development. 2nd Energy production from non-renewable and renewable resources. Overview of regulations. 3rd Power supply - design, calculation of the need for electricity, power supply, types of electrical systems, power distribution to consumers, objects. 4th Supplying energy gases - concept, types of fuel gases and their sources, calculation of gas, gas storage, gas distribution to consumers. System of gas distribution systems, objects. 5th Heat supply - the concept, types of thermal media and a heat source, the calculation of heating demand, heat distribution to consumers. Systems of distribution of heat and hot water (DHW), objects. 6th Materials and methods of storage underground and overhead power lines. 7th Protective structures and safety zones for power. Spatial arrangement of line equipment. Time reserve 8th Economy of operation and construction of buildings and for power management. Use of collectors. Corrosion protection of underground power lines.
