Subject aims expressed by acquired skills and competences

The course aims to develop students' basic knowledge and orientation in the subject of geodesy. They will get acquainted with the principles, methods and processing of angular and longitudinal measurements in geodesy. It also gains an overview of basic nomenclature, allowing it to be easier to orientate in related subjects. Extended knowledge of geodesy in construction, legislative framework of building geodesy, precise measurement methods, measurement of building shifts, o GNSS measurement technology.

Way of continuous check of knowledge in the course of semester

E-learning

Other requirements

• At least 70% attendance at the exercises. Absence, up to a maximum of 30%, must be excused and the apology must be accepted by the teacher (the teacher will decide why the apology is justified). • Participation in field lessons • It is the student's responsibility to prepare for the next lesson (print the materials, get acquainted with the content of the exercises, etc.), because practical exercises are performed in the exercise. Repeated neglect of preparation results in the student being excluded from the exercises without giving credit. • Tasks, technical reports, and other materials are always handed over to the following exercises. With a delay of each exercise, the mark is reduced by one point. • The amount of the credit is based on the point gain in the submission of the outputs, the technical reports from the individual measurements, the tasks. • Credits are awarded on the last exercise according to the schedule in the given semester.
