Knowledge of subject content is a prerequisite for the pursuit of land development, land use and strategic planning in public administration and private sector.

Summary
The course at the beginning focuses its attention on the organization and composition of the city and in this context the importance of transport in the present life of the city and its development. It will further functions, differentiation and development of residential areas as well as functions, differentiation and development of manufacturing in the city. At the same time the content is focused on the function and development of land transport equipment and the importance of individual modes of transport for the city. It will also be distributed around the issue of technical infrastructure and their respective segments. Conclusion will be given meaning, structure and distribution of various types of public facilities. Particular attention will be paid to the city center, the historic cores of cities and zájmovému the city.
