Subject aims expressed by acquired skills and competences
The course introduces students to the various processes involved in the preparation and implementation of investment projects in construction in relation to reuse Brownfields. The course places emphasis on the preparatory phase, where students learn about different forms of documentation. Students will learn during the course of the investment process, its various stages of the investment cycle on documentation, decision-making inputs. They will be familiar with the types of business plans, feasibility studies opportunities, feasibility and feasibility studies.

At least 70% attendance at the exercises. Absence, up to a maximum of 30%, must be excused and the apology must be accepted by the teacher (the teacher decides to recognize the reason for the excuse). Tasks assigned on the exercises must be hand in within the dates set by the teacher.

Subject syllabus:
Introductory lecture ( investment , project contracting , strategy and investment ) , Terminology investment in construction law in connection with investments in the construction, classification of investment projects related to brownfield regeneration, basic entities and partners in the investment process in building ( authorization to exercise activities, total investment cycle model ( basic scheme , the specifics of the preparatory phase , the control inputs of government , decision-making of investors ) , pre-investment phase of the investment cycle I ( time parameters , participants , processes) , pre-investment phase of the investment cycle II (documentation phase , the method of logical framework SWOT analysis) of the improvements and land ( land management , survey work ), the investment phase I ( input stage of implementation , delivery models) , Tender in the investment process in construction investment phase II (the strike preparation and execution - time parameters , participants , processes , supervision ) , Operational Phase + Winding-up phase ( time parameters , participants , processes) , based on economic aspects of investment in construction , financial aspects of the investment cycle , total recap .
