Subject aims expressed by acquired skills and competences

The subject is concerned with the use of building information modeling design, implementation and use of the building or its liquidation. These technologies are based on sophisticated digital model of the building and part of teaching is to become familiar with the environment of software support. During the exercise will be processed BIM project on available software (student licenses), mainly ArchiCad.

Other requirements

Students work out a complex model building software ArchiCAD (Graphisoft) in the student license. The project includes a digital model of the building and documentation of the building with the draft schedule maintenance. The project is gradually assembled during the semester by creating a building model to parameterize objects and links to planning processes. The project is evaluated by credit. At least 70% attendance at the exercises. Absence, up to a maximum of 30%, must be excused and the apology must be accepted by the teacher (the teacher decides to recognize the reason for the excuse). Tasks assigned on the exercises must be hand in within the dates set by the teacher.
