Subject aims expressed by acquired skills and competences
The aim of the course is to acquaint students with problems of abandoned and underused areas - brownfields. Students receive information about the facts that give rise to brownfields, about the problems that these areas in settlements causes and possibilities of revitalization projects, including funding sources. The course includes also information about origin of the contamination and ways of tackling it.

Students are in the classroom in the exercise commissioned two independent work:
- Analysis of selected brownfield site, including the design of its regeneration
- Analysis of selected technical monuments
