Subject aims expressed by acquired skills and competences
Familiarization with new technologies and trends in technical practice and introduction to teaching in the form of field trips will be reflected in higher quality processed bachelor theses of students of Urban engineering and provide new opportunities for specialization theses solved within the Master's program. Students must have the opportunity to become familiar with the technologies and products that are in everyday professional practice, construction companies, traffic engineering and urban planning offices and government institutions use.

Students are awarded an exercise in two separate works:
- Progress report on the excursion focused on describing the new trends in engineering practice
- Application of new knowledge when thesis

Subject syllabus:
1. Objective excursion
a) education - vocational subject teacher ranks excursion into the teaching curriculum to a better understanding of the topic. The dominant contribution to the subject excursion is the possibility of improving students' preparation with regard to practical requirements.
b) educational - to teach students self-discipline during visits to construction companies and organizations. Learn to behave in a strange environment and control their behavior in conditions where can occur when inappropriate behavior in the designated area to injury.
2nd Output - Output will be elaborated in writing the report. Responsible leaders excursion. Students will prepare a report about the purpose of the excursion in the subject. Students will use the knowledge of excursions for their further education and the application of knowledge in technical subjects.
3. Ensuring excursion - excursion will choose teachers of vocational subjects. The discretion of the teacher chooses - the date, place and mode of transportation, select a destination and provide expert commentary excursion.
Report outline description of the excursion: a) Introduction - the date, destination, means of transport used timetable b) Description of destination, expert content excursion c) Conclusion - personal contribution excursion descriptions will be written in Arial 12, spacing 2 so as to be used the whole page (min. 15 lines), printed and signed.
