Subject aims expressed by acquired skills and competences

The course provides basic information about the methods of price calculation in the building industry and their applicability in the preparation of investment construction, especially the tender. Skills of the course graduates: knowledge of pricing in the building industry, knowledge of the types of prices and their applicability, application of costing procedures in pricing, ability to apply costing approaches in the tender of investment construction.

Summary

The course deals with the ways of building prices in the construction project by means of calculation and subsequent budgeting. It presents types of calculation procedures and basic rules for calculating individual items in the calculation formula. It defines pricing structures from the perspective of the investor and the contractor.

At least 70% attendance at the exercises. Absence, up to a maximum of 30%, must be excused and the apology must be accepted by the teacher (the teacher decides to recognize the reason for the excuse). Tasks assigned on the exercises must be hand in within the dates set by the teacher.

Project documentation and pricing. 12. Public procurement and tender preparation. 13. Contractual relations and invoicing. 14. Valuation of engineering and project work.

Mandatory attendence participation: At least 70% participation in exercises.
