Subject aims expressed by acquired skills and competences

Course provides students with basic knowledge of construction economics and management in the construction industry with special attention to the construction work. It emphasized the technical aspect of the economy with construction and use of economic decision theory and decision-making tools to solve problems. The importance of economic construction and construction management in the context of increasing life-cycle cost of buildings, utilities and maintenance of long-term sustainable development investments.

Summary

Course provides students with basic knowledge of construction economics and management in the construction industry with special attention to the construction work. At least 70% attendance at the exercises. Absence, up to a maximum of 30%, must be excused and the apology must be accepted by the teacher (the teacher decides to recognize the reason for the excuse). Tasks assigned on the exercises must be hand in within the dates set by the teacher.

Transmission and receipt of the building. Commissioning
