Subject aims expressed by acquired skills and competences
To acquire basic knowledge of the principles of creation for the design of residential buildings, civic amenities and employment in relation to general and technical requirements, including requirements for barrier-free use in relation to the optimization of the use of individual premises. An integral part of the course is mastering the orientation in legal regulations and Czech technical standards affecting the design of the building.

Summary
The course deals with the basic requirements for buildings from the viewpoint of protection of public interest and in relation to general and technical requirements, including requirements for barrier-free use of buildings, stipulated by legal regulations and Czech technical standards.

At least 70% attendance at the exercises. Absence, up to a maximum of 30%, must be excused and the apology must be accepted by the teacher (the teacher decides to recognize the reason for the excuse). Tasks assigned on the exercises must be hand in within the dates set by the teacher. The emphasis is on individual student work.
