Subject aims expressed by acquired skills and competences

The course focuses on the theory of patterns between transport and territories, and links urbanism development of the area in terms of traffic. The foundation defines the links between function of transport and territories, as well as their projection at individual locations structures in terms of traffic and urbárních characteristics. It deals with the planning principles and procedures for system solutions transport entitlements formation of road space in urban environments. At the same time deals with the development tendency transport sustainability and quality of life in the seat, especially calming Transport and other measures potřebními eliminating negative effects.

Subject syllabus:

1st Introduction to urban planning, industry terminology. 2nd Conditions for the emergence and development of settlements (cities). 3rd Functional division headquarters (city), the Athens Charter. 4th The spatial layout of settlements (cities), street types of accounts. 5th Transport in built-up area of settlements, transport and the environment. 6th Vehicular traffic. 7th Breakdown of the road network. 8th Pedestrian traffic. 9th Cycling. 10th Traffic in the center of settlements (cities). 11th Public transport - in general, rolling, TRACKLESS. 12th Railroads in the city. 13th Water and air transport. 14th Traffic and street space in the traditional town. 15th Ditto in the modern urban planning influenced the Athens Charter.
