Subject aims expressed by acquired skills and competences
The course will provide a comprehensive understanding of the principles of techno-economic modeling and decision-making process, pojímaného as an integral part of management decisions with consideration to the kinds of solutions to decision problems with regard to selection criteria, creating alternatives and determine the consequences of the decision-making processes. Emphasis is placed on analysis of interdependencies business objectives, available resources and their use options with regard to respecting the criteria of effectiveness of resource allocation and the time factor.
Content focus:
The course focuses on the decision-making processes involving methodology solving and decision making of all basic technical, and technological-technical and ecological problems associated with the provision of municipal development. It also deals with modeling and process management in the area with regard to the effectiveness of public infrastructure and minimizing environmental impact. At the same time discusses the development trends of sustainability of public infrastructure and quality of life in settlements. Subject utilizes SW PREV - Project Evaluation, which evaluates a tree decomposed and evaluated projects with an impact risk.
Basic topics:
Identification, analysis and formulation of decision problems, analysis of time series and conjunctural analysis, linear and nonlinear models, Foresight methods and their classification, analysis methods of decision-making problems, multi-criteria assessment methods and value engineering, modeling and forecasting geographic information systems, decision trees as a tool for optimization several stages of decision-making processes under risk, Software support decision trees, tools estimating the effects of risk variants, Tools, estimating the effects of risk variants, analysis of potential problems and opportunities by Kepner-Tregoe methodology, simulation using Monte Carlo -PREV FCE CTU.
