Summary

Texture and structure of matter. Microscopic methods for study of structures and textures of building materials and geo-materials. Evaluation of porosity and pore size distribution in materials. Non-destructive methods for study of structure and damage of materials. Basic principles of digital imaging, image processing and analysis. Quantification of composition and structural-textural parameters of materials (granularity, voids, components, shape, size and orientation of particles, pores and fissures).
