Subject aims expressed by acquired skills and competences

The goal is to teach students to work with the problems of processing assessment of the impact of investment on the environment. Students will gain skills in evaluation of buildings on the environment. Students learn to evaluate their effectiveness, assess and express the extent of their influence. Students are introduced to ways of categorizing and collecting various data and methods of analysis.

Summary

The course is focused on environmental issues in construction. Students will learn the methodology and are familiar with the historical background of the assessment of the impact of buildings on the environment.

Other requirements

At least 70% attendance at the exercises. Absence, up to a maximum of 30%, must be excused and the apology must be accepted by the teacher (the teacher decides to recognize the reason for the excuse). Requirements can be specified and supplemented by the teacher at the beginning of the semester. Tasks assigned on the exercises must be hand in within the dates set by the teacher.
