Subject aims expressed by acquired skills and competences

The course is focused on testing and diagnostics of building materials and structures. In this course, students will acquire basic knowledge of design and evaluation of technical experiment. Practical exercises are a part of the course. Learning outcomes of the course unit The aim of the course is to acquaint students with the basic connections between experiment and analysis in the field of designing building structures and materials and acquiring basic skills in the field of statistical data processing.

At least 70% attendance at the exercises. Absence, up to a maximum of 30%, must be excused and the apology must be accepted by the teacher (the teacher decides to recognize the reason for the excuse). Requirements can be specified and supplemented by the teacher at the beginning of the semester. Tasks assigned on the exercises must be hand in within the dates set by the teacher.
