Subject aims expressed by acquired skills and competences
The course is focused on testing and diagnostics of building materials and structures. The aim of the course is to prepare students for the performance of independent work in the design, implementation and evaluation of experiments. In the course, students are acquainted with the basics of building testing and metrology, they will acquire knowledge of the problems of standardization in the field of testing. The course includes practical exercises in the laboratory, where students will acquire skills in building testing.

At least 70% attendance at the exercises.
Absence, up to a maximum of 30%, must be excused and the apology must be accepted by the teacher (the teacher decides to recognize the reason for the excuse).
Requirements can be specified and supplemented by the teacher at the beginning of the semester.
Tasks assigned on the exercises must be hand in within the dates set by the teacher.
