Summary

DAssessing the impact of buildings on the environment is a multidisciplinary field where construction engineers tend to act as 'notifiers' or work closely with them. Learning outcomes of the course unit The aim of this course is to acquaint students with the general processes of the EIA process (including the historical context of this evaluation), but also to focus on the legislation of the Czech Republic in connection with this assessment. Part of the subject is also some superior legislation and implementing methodological regulations. Within the course students will be able to manage some screening tools, they will be familiar with methods of assessing significance of impact - impact. They control the difference between size and significance of the impact. An integral part is the familiarization with mitigation - mitigation means. An integral part of the subject is the SEA process.
