Subject aims expressed by acquired skills and competences

The aim of the course is to give students a comprehensive overview of the properties, method of manufacture, processing and use of the building materials in construction. Students will acquire knowledge and skills in the field of evaluation of physical and mechanical properties of important groups of building materials, in the area of design of composition and production of building materials and the choice of suitable materials for use in civil engineering.
