Subject aims expressed by acquired skills and competences
Introduction to the processes of building materials production. The subject deals with main aspects of cement, lime and other binders production, production of brick and ceramic products, production of mineral fibers and thermal insulation, stone and aggregates. Furthermore, there are described the production of light building materials, such as keramzit or perlite, waterproofing and glass production.

Summary
Seznámení s procesy výroby stavebních hmot. předmět se zabývá hlavními aspekty výroby cementu, vápna a dalších pojiv, výrobou cihlářských a keramických výrobků, výrobou minerálních vláken a tepelných izolací, kamene a kameniva. Dále jsou zde popisovány výroby lehkých stavebních hmot, např keramzitu nebo perlitu, hydroizolací a výroba skla.

The minimum attendance rate required is 70% or above. Absence of up to 30% must be excused and the apology must be accepted by the teacher.
