Subject aims expressed by acquired skills and competences
Objective of the course - learning outcomes and competences: Students are acquainted with the basics of building testing and metrology, acquire knowledge of standardization in the field of testing. The acquired knowledge is applied by students in the form of work in the field of design, implementation and evaluation of experiments.

Summary
Studenti jsou seznámeni se základy testování staveb a metrologie, získávají znalosti o standardizaci v oblasti testování. Součástí lekcí jsou praktické cvičení v laboratoři, kde si studenti získají dovednosti v oblasti testování staveb. Získané znalosti aplikují studenti formou samostatné práce z oblasti navrhování, realizace a vyhodnocování experimentů.

Way of continuous check of knowledge in the course of semester
Students work out and present their semestral work. The study results are verified both in written and oral form.

The minimum attendance rate required is 70% or above. Absence of up to 30% must be excused and the apology must be accepted by the teacher.
Requirements will be specified by the teacher at the beginning of the semester. Submission of assignments within the deadlines set by the teacher is required for credit obtaining.

Subject syllabus:
Testing and diagnostics of building materials and structures, normative and legislative requirements. Design, implementation and evaluation of experiments. Fundamentals of Building Testing, Metrology and Standardization in Testing. Practical exercises in the laboratory focusing on building testing.
