Technical surveying; power of building materials; statical and dynamical loading of constructions; moisture; masonry failures; concrete structures; chemical processes in concrete; concrete corrosion; timber structures; construction damage due to moisture, animals and fungal attack; steel structures; panel constructions; foundation impacts; building constructions measurements; laboratory tests of building materials; building materials in constructions in situ assessment.

At least 70% attendance at the exercises. Absence, up to a maximum of 30%, must be excused and the apology must be accepted by the teacher (the teacher decides to recognize the reason for the excuse). Requirements can be specified and supplemented by the teacher at the beginning of the semester. Tasks assigned on the exercises must be hand in within the dates set by the teacher.

Subject syllabus:

Syllabus of lectures: 1st Architectural and engineering research. 2nd Eligibility of building materials. 3rd Load static and dynamic structures. 4th Humidity structures. 5th Disorders of the wall. 6th Concrete structures, chemical processes in concrete, corrosion of concrete. 7th Wooden structures, damage to structures due to moisture, animals and mushrooms. 8th Steel construction. 9th Panel construction 10th Effects of the establishment. Seminars (seminar): 1st Measurement of structures. 2nd Laboratory testing of building materials. 3rd Assessment of building materials in structures in situ.
