Comprehension of deterioration process of materials and structures . Knowledge of repair technologies and their application in designing of repair a structure.

Summary
Basic requirements for buildings and structures due to degradation and intermediate loads.
The technological process of rehabilitation. Different types of remediation technology
structures, the possibility of strengthening. Particular attention is paid to clean up
historic buildings. Ecological and economic aspects of remediation technologies.

First Introduction, requirements for buildings and functional parts, construction defects and disorders,definition of risk.
Second Degradation of buildings in operation, the effects of environmental influences and load restoration works. Entering individual semestral work.
Third The technological process of remediation, remediation materials selection criteria.
4th Defects and failures of concrete structures, mechanisms of degradation of concrete.
Corrosion of reinforcement and prestressed concrete structures.
5th The technology of concrete structures, structure, methodology.
6th Defects and failures of masonry structures, vaults, masonry, structural and non structural, specifics.
7th Technology rehabilitation of masonry structures, strengthening of structures.
8th Redevelopment of wet masonry.
9th Defects and failures of timber structures, specifications, an overview of remediation technologies.
10th Remediation technology of wooden structures, replacement of parts of the structures.
