Subject aims expressed by acquired skills and competences

Goal is familiarization students with methods of testing of construction materials by laboratory destructive and nondestructive techniques, their using in praxis, estimation physical-mechanical features of examinational materials and products and analyze their usability in building construction.

Summary

Předmět doplňuje další odborné předměty vyučované na katedře Stavebních hmot a diagnostiky staveb. V předmětu se studenti seznámí, případně doplní znalosti z oblasti vlastností tradičních, ale také nových a speciálních stavebních materiálů a výrobků, včetně metod jejich zkoušení.

Other requirements

At least 70% attendance at the exercises. Absence, up to a maximum of 30%, must be excused and the apology must be accepted by the teacher (the teacher decides to recognize the reason for the excuse). Requirements can be specified and supplemented by the teacher at the beginning of the semester. Tasks assigned on the exercises must be hand in within the dates set by the teacher.

Properties of metals and metal products. 6. Properties of wood and wood products. 7. Excursion. 8. Composite materials, properties and use I. 9. Composite materials, properties and applications II. 10. Polymers, classification, properties and testing I. 11. Polymers, classification, properties and testing II. 12. Durability of materials and components. 13. Analytical methods of building materials testing. 14. Quality of building materials and products.
